Bacterial Vaginosis or BV is a fairly common condition among women. And even though there are antibiotics prescribed to treat the condition, there are still a lot of women these days that prefer to use natural home remedies instead of the synthetic medications that doctors prescribe. One of these effective home remedies is to eat two cups of yogurt every day for two to three days. Yogurt is rich with good bacteria that not only helps you to get rid of bad bacteria which caused BV in the first place, but also helps to restore and maintain a balanced pH level in the vagina and prevent you from experiencing BV again.

Apple cider, when applied to the affected area can also be very helpful to treat BV. Yogurt applied to the affected area for 2 days can also treat the condition. While you are undergoing these types of treatment for bacterial vaginosis, it is best to avoid wearing tight underwear and clothing to avoid making the condition worse. Dropping a few drops of tea tree oil in your bath and soaking in it for ten to twenty minutes can also help you to relieve the condition and stop any form of discomfort.
