I strongly endorse the Tucson Dog Protection Act

Greyhounds have been kept in deplorable conditions. The three parts of the act cover basic improvements. The issues of dogs being fed uncooked meat of diseased animals, females being given anabolic steroids and greyhounds kept 22 or more hours in cages are beyond comprehension. No animal should be treated so horribly. This act will have an impact on the suffering of many dogs. The improvements are a beginning to more humane treatment.
